Double Agent Poso

Double Agent Poso

“Always have one hand reaching up for the next rung of the ladder, and have one reaching down to help the next guy up.”

That’s a maxim I’ve lived by since starting my newpub career.

But conservative indie authors and readers are starting to notice that the e-celebs packaged as culture war champions won’t lift a finger for them, much less a hand.

Take the recent example of disturber of the peace turned Twitter pundit Jack Posobiec:

Posobiec 1

So Poso gets off on the right foot by retweeting a call to support right-wing creators. All well and good.

But then another Twitter user asks him to put his clout where his mouth his.

Posobiec 2

The response is less than consistent.

The shot:

Posobiec 3

That’s his big cultural contribution: a single comic he released 3 years ago, which also happened to promote him.

Here’s the chaser:

It’s not like I can’t see an influencer turning down a request for a signal boost. Maybe the artist’s message is not a good fit for your brand. Maybe you just don’t have time.

But the block is a strange response. Why would a Conservative culture warrior do that?

Maybe because he knows he’s a fraud.

Posobiec 6

Yes, that’s Double Agent Poso shilling for a charity with Antifa connections.

Heather Heyer Foundation

So while he won’t give a signal boost to conservative creators, he will grift to send their money to people who hate those creators.

Posobiec 7

Poso’s comment there just drips with “What’s in it for me?”

Which gives you an insight into his motives.

Say what you will about the Death Cult, its members aren’t on the make for a quick buck. They’re devoted to a moral crusade.

Granted, their morals are diabolical inversions of the truth. But cultists will give their money, friends, families, and humanity for them.

Their dedication stands in sharp contrast to the grifters Con Inc. has foisted on us a leaders.

The grifters don’t care about you. If you listen long enough, you’ll hear them say it in their own words.

They’re looking out for #1.

Which raises the question of what was in it for Poso when he did that Heyer Foundation promo.

Anyway, that last screenshot comes courtesy of author Rawle Nyanzi.

Rawle is one of the most dedicated guys in newpub.

  1. At least he gave us the ultimate example of the Washington Generals in action. These people don’t want better culture. It’s in their best interests to keep it poisonous so they can keep up the grift.

Whether it’s this or Matt Walsh’s sea lion book, it isn’t made to create anything. It’s just meant for themselves to get ahead.

That comic of his is autofellatio in print. Obscene and grotesque

My thoughts exactly. At least use an avatar of another character to tell your story. Pure narcissism.

Indeed. The more people wake up to the fraudulent nature of such “leaders”, the better. Seriously, would it really cost him to shout out a couple of small creators?

I would expect nothing less from Jack “I openly admit to being a fed” Posobiec.

The hilarious thing is that comic book is from Arkhaven, yet Poso didn’t mention them at all, (let alone promote them) as company trying to expand culture.

But yeah, they never say stuff like
    >Yeah, Dinesh Desouza, why don’t you take what you’ve learned, and help other film makers get distribution
    etc. It’s always
    >Other people need to do something. Now buy my book.

A while back Matt Walsh had a stunt where he “owned the libs” by backing a kickstarter for AOC’s grandma. It predictably fell through (and Walsh admitted he knew that it would be blocked the whole time meaning that his whole schtick of “let’s show how much more generous we are with our own money” was hollow since he knew that he wouldn’t have to pay a dime.)

After the kickstarter was yanked lots of people asked Walsh to back conservative kickstarters. Some of these were for people in need; disabled conservative vets and the like. Some were for getting conservative entertainment off the ground. The response was always the same, conservatives don’t deserve “hand outs” and you should get your own money by producing something of value. Followed by an advertisement for Walsh’s walrus book which was basically pitched as “yeah this book sucks, but if you buy it you’ll make the libs mad!”

Can’t think of a better encapsulation of grifterconism. Get people to waste money on pointless optics, then deny any actual aid to the right, and top it off with shameless self-promotion.

    • We must always remember that grifters like Posobiec and Walsh have been carefully chosen by gatekeepers for their facility with parting Normie from his money.
