Burned Book Early Access

Burned Book Campaign Card

I plunged readers into a haunting world of dark magic and deep mystery with my Dragon Award-winning Soul Cycle.

Now I’m revealing the secret history behind this captivating epic in its highly anticipated prequel, The Burned Book.

Dark intrigue. Blood magic. Vicious Battle.

Who can move a world standing on these pillars?

An outcast boy with a terrible secret …

A disillusioned priest seeking release from fate …

The restless son of a fading race seeking his destiny …

Thrown together by chance, their historic quest will span a continent. And change all worlds forever.

Zebrin wanders the human-dominated mainland, having fled his people’s rigid island refuge.
Alone in barbaric lands, he yearns to find himself in those his race shuns.

But when an ambitious emperor drafts him for a harrowing mission to the farthest ends of the world, will he discover and embrace his divine calling? Or will the kingdom he was ordained to save fall?

The answer lies in the Burned Book.

If you like the grand lore of Tolkien and the grim adventure of Glen Cook, you’ll love the gripping prequel to my acclaimed Soul Cycle!

Back the project now and read the eagerly awaited book before launch!

How does the ‘Author Chat’ perk work? Is there a deadline for when it has to be used? Would it be possible to deliver material to you in advance of the actual chat for you to read – an outline for a book, for example?

I am still too far away from completion to consider the book editing perk. But getting feedback on an outline might be something I would look into.

Hope you are able to answer my questions.

    • Yes, an outline would be an acceptable-length document to send me prior to our chat. An actual draft would be Pro Editing perk territory.

My SOP is to give 1-year deadlines on my author services perks. If a perk remains unused after that time, I apply the perk price as an advance against my services at a discounted rate. So there’s no risk of going emptyhanded.

Tl; dr: I’d love to give you feedback on your outline. We’ll set up a time that works for both of us after you claim the perk: https://igg.me/at/the-burned-book
