Con Inc Exposed

Crowder Con Inc

It’s no secret that this blog has been critical of Conservative pundit Steven Crowder. After all, his career is one of the answers to the often-asked question “Why doesn’t Conservative media ever do anything effective in the culture war?”

But now, it looks as if Crowder is breaking the Con Inc. oath of omerta and confirming their detractors’ most serious accusations.

Here’s Crowder going over his Daily Wire contract. Hear him out as he discusses what greedy control freaks they act like:

Regarding the draconian contract clauses he’s taking issue with: To be frank, that’s how business goes. In negotiations like these, either party can ask for any provisions they want. If one party is adamant that some demand or other is a deal-breaker, he’s free to walk away.

Which, to his credit, Steven Crowder is doing. That’s fair.

The real bombshell isn’t Crowder’s contact terms; it’s his public revelation of Con Inc’s motives.

I’ve always explained my logic was relatively simple. I believe that the world was better with more voices out there rather than less, regardless of minute differences, considering the magnitude of the battle that we are genuinely fighting for our country right now.

But for the first time, I have to say that I believe many of those in charge in the right-leaning media are actually at odds with what’s best for you, the viewer, the customer, and more importantly, the country.

The Big Conservative media brands never score wins against the Left because they’re in bed together.

For real, they’re the Washington Generals to the Left’s Globetrotters.

Never forget that Con Inc. golden boy Ben Shapiro was created by Hollywood Producer Jeremy Boreing.

And it’s Boreing who’s now making the rounds running damage control against Crowder’s exposé.

Boreing also jumped the “Don’t give money to people who hate you” train to shill a self-branded line of razors. That lame stunt alone should tell you how these running dogs operate.

Because as Crowder has learned, it’s not only the Left that hates you.

Their willing accomplices on the fake Right not only hate you, they want to make sure there’s no genuine opposition to fight for you. And they want to fleece you in the bargain.

Drop Con Inc.

Pretty telling that the only real pushback to Crowder comes from people saying “but he was offered 50 million! What right does he have to complain?”

The grift has always been about the money. Part of the appeal of the Joker among the dissident right is the line “It’s not about money, it’s about sending a message.”

    • Following the money turns up some intriguing implications. Daily Wire’s biggest financial backers are the Wilks brothers, one of whom runs a weird Judaizing pseudo-Christian sect. They made their money in oil but also get funding from Chinese interests.

Anyone who thinks Daily Wire’s success is organic is too gullible to vote.

YouTube never strikes any Daily Wire channels, yet smaller streamers get taken down for posting the similar content. If that doesn’t explain collusion between Big Tech and DW, I don’t know what will.

    • One rumor making the rounds is that Shapiro made a backroom deal with YouTube that gives him immunity from the banhammer, as long as he doesn’t talk about certain subjects.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We also know that Daily Wire is the single biggest news publisher on Facebook. That is the outfit which was hauled in front of Congress multiple times for censoring Conservatives. Yet Zuckerberg lets Shapiro operate there with relative impunity.

Shapiro, for his part, was among the loudest beating the “muh private company!” drum in response to censorship charges against Big Social. Now that Elon Musk has published files proving that Big Tech didn’t just collude with the feds; they _are_ the feds, it must be asked if Ben is so ineffective at fighting the government because he’s paid by it.

    Brian,

But will Chowder’s revelation cause Con inc to implode? To publically affirm they side with our enemies? I don’t see Con inc suffering any blowback from this.

Maybe, but a large chunk of their market just got told the truth to their face by their favourite talking head. If they’re so deep that they won’t be convinced even by that, then I doubt they were ever reachable at all. There’s no way this doesn’t have some substantial impact on Con Inc, even if they don’t implode.

      • You both have valid points. On one hand, Daily Wire is backed by a couple of oil billionaires who in turn have Chinese financiers. So getting a few boomers to stop buying cruise tickets won’t bankrupt them.

On the other hand, Crowder parting the veil – and Jeremy Boreing’s catty response – has convinced some who had one foot in and one foot out to go all-in on our side.

Avoid the Conservative trap of thinking that the culture war will come down to one big final battle for all the marbles. How we win is by leveraging opposition screwups like these to bring over as many normies as possible.

Dissidents may only be around 10% of the US population right now. But the Death Cult is only 20%. That means we don’t have to quintuple our numbers, just double them. Thank God our enemies are making it easier by the day.

  4. I looked for a summary Jeremy Boreing’s response and turned up this tidbit: “While Daily Wire podcaster Jordan Peterson initially praised Crowder on Twitter, his tweet was taken down after the apparent feud came into public view.”

    Circle ‘dem wagons!

  5. I just realized something. Mencius Moldbug used to out that when Leftists are on one of their self-righteous jeremiads about one topic, they accidentally let slip truths about other topics that undermine their entire ideological edifice.

In DW’s case, Despite Boreing gassing on about how contracts work, I had no idea he was this loaded. I knew vaguely that he was rich, but the mere fact that his empire is so vast that he can toss a fifty-million dollar bone to a YouTuber means he might as well be Nancy frickin’ Pelosi.
