Musician and author David Stewart is back with a brand-new album.
The new Zul album “Return” is out now!
And you’ll get a free book if you purchase it on Bandcamp!
Otherwise, listen on Spotify or Amazon Music (or your favorite streaming service).Zul is my eclectic music project, which I usually bill as “Ambient Rock,” but there’s a lot more there if you give it a listen. All my influences are present: metal and classical guitar, minimalism, and especially jazz. If you buy the album, you’ll get a free PDF copy of Afterglow: Generation Y, my anthology of short stories from 2022 (if you buy the album and want a different format, email me). Both the music and the stories come from common inspiration and use common imagery.
For YouTube subscribers, you’ve probably seen (or heard) these tracks before, but I’ve collected them into an album (as originally intended, especially if you look at the track titles) and done some additional production work to polish them off. It took longer to complete than I would have liked, but I had a lot of changes in my life over the last few years that have impacted my ability to produce music. I’m very thankful that my hearing has improved enough over the last few months that I could get back to work in this vocation. I know some of you have been praying for me, so thank you.
Before I go, if you read Demon Ex Machina, my latest horror story, please consider dropping a rating or review on Amazon, as that helps me tremendously.
Also, if you were one of the thousand people who read Prophet of the Godseed on March 30, thank you! It was nice to have such an old book go to the top of some Amazon lists so unexpectedly.
