Just a few quick reminders that the Death Cult isn’t invincible.
Next up, disputed but encouraging:
And to save the biggest white pill for last:
These past few years, when people tried to rationalize persisting in cooperation with evil because “Boycotts don’t work,” I’d point out that God doesn’t command us to be successful, but faithful.
It’s not about hurting faceless megacorps. It’s about preserving your soul.
However, that doesn’t rule out God rewarding our faith with victory.
And these victories will increase with our faith.
Which is a long way of saying “Don’t give money to people who hate you.”
Just checked on a number of the big names: Apple, Coke, Exxon, Nvidia, ect. Was shocked to see that the pfps are all sterile.
HOWEVER, I did find exception. Coke and Exxon have the gay rainbow in their banners so they are excused from absolute praise. I’m being nitpicky but also not trying to encourage full absolution for those who want to be cute/clever.
Not knocking the progress. Keeping the pfp clean is half the battle and considering it’s only a couple out of the 10 or so I checked, those stats are amazing all things considering.
Gloria tibi Domine.
Like I alluded to in the post, some of these wins are open to fair dispute. The point is that the Death Cult high priests assured us this would be the biggest Sodomy Month yet, with only reactionary cranks mumbling “humbug” on the fringes. Instead it has been a dud, even compared to last year.
I’d liken it to a boxer having lost every single round of a fight but manage to land a few solid blows in a later round which gives the champ the slightest bloody nose.
Still way behind on the cards but there’s momentum.
God is undefeated.
I liked ZippyCatholic’s (RIP) analogy: we’re sappers underneath the walls of Barad-dûr swinging our pickaxes by lamplight. We will likely never see the day the evil spire comes crumbling down in our lifetimes but every now and then a big chuck of rock comes loose and it’s enough to encourage you to keep swinging.
