Beating Back the Darkness

Author Tiger Hebert announces the upcoming crowdfunder for his action-packed fantasy series:

Get Ready for Beating Back the Darkness Series Cover Overhaul & Rebrand

It’s the modern day fantasy series readers are calling, “a fusion of Lord of the Rings, Narnia, World of Warcraft, and D&D.”

Beating Back the Darkness

4 novels, 2 novellas, and 2,500 pages of epic fantasy goodness all crafted into one action-packed series.

Readers love it, but after 10 years and five different cover designers, it’s time for this series to get a make-over.

With your support, I will be able to work with Bad Moon Art Studio to give the entire series a much needed facelift. The cover design overhaul will result in a fresh unified art style for the entire series complete with series logo & branding.

This isn’t just about fancy new covers though!

This project also has a number of stretch goals that I am really, really hopeful that we can unlock, because doing so will allow me to do some incredible things with the books that I’ve never been able to do before.

Like:

  • Get the entire series in print format for the first time
  • Beautify the interior of all the books with stylized formatting for the whole series
  • Add custom art for the book interiors
  • Add a special glossary & pronunciation guide
  • Add new short stories to the world
  • And more…

Not only that, but Kickstarter is a platform that allows me to invite the fans into the process—and not just financially.

Yes, as a backer, you will have the opportunity to get all kinds of awesome rewards for your financial support. For this project some of those fun rewards include signed bookmarks and bookplates, fantasy drink coasters, map posters, new stories, signed books, gorgeous wall art, and more!

That’s not all though!

I’ve built this campaign with a number of different options that will allow you to actually enter into the creative process with me. I’ve got some really fun reward options & add-ons built into the campaign, like Make-a-Monster and Create-a-Character! I even have 1 hour video calls where we can talk books or even dive into the writing process. Inviting fans this far into the creative process is something I’ve never done before, and I am so excited.

Check it out here.

    Brisn,

I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never heard of this authour nor his work.
    Is the series popular?
    Thanks!
