Theology is a frequent topic of discussion on this blog. Because I’m a theologian, that makes sense. But sometimes even I don’t have the best answer to my discerning readers’ questions off the top of my head. That’s normal, since a master doesn’t necessarily have all the material memorized. What he does know is where to look for the answer.
In that vein, one of the most copious and reliable sources of Catholic theological knowledge is Classical Theist. Like a proper Thomist, he knows the doctrine and can articulate rational arguments in support of it. But what sets CT apart from the glut of Catholic wonks online is his clarity. He has a gift for walking the fine line between dissertation-length blog posts you need Peter Lombard’s Sentences and two concordances on hand to grasp, and watered-down podcasts that oversimplify complex matters.
And best of all, he always brings the receipts.
That’s why I was delighted to hear that Classical Theist now has his own channel on Cozy TV.
Check out his first stream, in which he dismantles the “Medieval theologians were pro-abortion!” zombie meme Death Cultists are parroting to cope with their latest L.
While you’re there, make sure to follow his channel for more clearheaded systematic theology. CT doesn’t get enough credit for his invaluable contribution to the ascendant Christian contingent of the dissident right. But it’s no exaggeration to say he’s formed the movement’s moral conscience more than any other contemporary figure.
